American Opossum Strips

American Opossum is a proven natural material valued for its soft movement and excellent water absorption. Our strips are  cut to 4 mm wide.

The fur blends fine underfur with subtle guard hairs, giving flies a natural profile with lifelike motion once wet. Opossum darkens in the water and breathes with each swing, effective whether tied for steelhead, salmon, or trout patterns.

Ideal for wings, collars, dubbed bodies on traditional flies, intruders, and modern leech patterns where natural movement and durability matter.
